She thought it looked like a silver-gold piston floating in the warm midday breeze as it stretched out two clicks, disappearing into the vastness of the station plaza. Refracting colours glimmer and sparkle softly from the water underneath its smooth mass, lighting up the plaza level like it was Christmas. The girl had been waiting patiently in the station for hours whilst they were accruing tickets and going through security checks, all the while catching glimpses of the Sky Trains’ gleaming hulk through the fluttering, bustling crowd of passengers checking in.
